This course is intended to provide a general introduction and awareness to all those involved in marine, port and offshore operations that may lead to a release of pollutants.

OBJECTIVES

This course provides a general introduction and awareness to oil spills in the marine and shoreline environment. It addresses the preparedness and response options
available to an oil pollution incident in the context of the current best practices and thinking in the response to an oil spill.
